Welcome to our website! The After Dinner Ukulele Society (ADUS) in was founded in May 2013, by Eliezer Turgel. The ukulele is now enjoying an unprecedented revival in popularity which hasn’t been experienced for many decades. This friendly member of the guitar family has been showing up in hundreds of web videos, popular films, and concert halls all over the world. Eliezer has brought together a group of people with varying backgrounds in music. Some of our members have had years of musical experience with other instruments as well as with the ukulele while others have never even touched a “uke” before. Everyone is welcome regardless of musical experience. Come join our friendly, fun, and lively club or just come to see us perform. You are welcome to sing along with us as we play all kinds of music. Our ukulele club is located in Côte Saint-Luc, Quebec, a suburb on the island of Montreal.
Everyone is Welcome!
The After Dinner Ukulele Society’s mission is to bring fellow ukulele enthusiasts together to form a community of ukulele players. We strive to provide an educational experience where members can enhance their ukulele skills and play for others in a fun and relaxed environment. Members will build friendships, play songs, share techniques, and, hopefully, learn a thing or two. The club will provide opportunities to “jam”, showcase, learn, and support others who share a passion for making music on the ukulele. Ukulele workshops leading to concerts and public performances at hospitals and schools etc., are offered.
Meeting are free of charge.
(Donations however, will be gratefully accepted.)
